It’s nearly time for Kingsbridge’s annual Food And Music Festival again and I’m looking forward to working with the event’s principle official photographer Scot Baston of Zooming Feet to shoot images of the event. This year the event runs from May 29th to the 31st, we’ll both be there on the Friday evening, I’ll be covering Saturday and Scot will round up on the Sunday. I took some unofficial photos last year and was lucky enough to win a prize in the event’s Facebook Photo Competition which was a great encouragement that was heightened by the consuming my prize of some beer from Quercus Devon Ales!
Whilst the main aim is to provide some great images to the organisers to use during and after the event for promoting the Festival, for me it’s also an opportunity to shake the wet sand from my Landscape Photography boots and hone (who am I kidding, I should say ‘develop’) my skills taking photographs of people enjoying themselves, fantastic local food and great musicians. So if you see me, say Hi, I’ll be the one trying to look like I know what I’m doing..
